Video Editor and Motion Designer

OneCare Media is a high-growth, Seattle-based startup that is building the next generation of health media. Our digital brands provide best-in-class services that bridge the gap between information and action across a variety of industries, including sleep, telehealth, and at-home testing.

About the Role:

OneCare Media seeks a video editor/motion designer to assist the Director of Video in supervising the post-production workflows for our engaging, informative product review videos.

The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded and flexible post-production specialist, with experience in editing, audio, and motion graphics. Experience working with contractors is a plus.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee post-production of our videos, including video editing, creation of motion graphics, color grading, audio post production, and asset management and storage
  • Supervise freelance motionographers, editors, and others contractors
  • Assist the Director of Video Production in managing multiple projects in various stages of production
  • Collaborate and consult with OneCare Media team members and others in the execution of video projects
  • Maintain and organize video assets on a server
  • Carry out other duties as assigned
  • Apply a perspective of equity in developing and producing video content, staying current on the evolving ways that content can support and promote diversity, inclusion and equity
  • The direction is received from the Director of Video Production

What We Are Looking For:

  • An online portfolio of video work (reel) is required at the time of application to be considered
  • At least three years of professional video editing and motion graphics experience
  • Proven experience in video/multimedia postproduction and best practices
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere and After Effects
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work successfully in a highly collaborative team environment as well as independently
  • Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum requirements. 
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
