About the Role
The Customer Service Representative will make and receive follow-up calls to and from medical equipment customers. You will make and receive calls from new or existing customers with a goal to provide new durable medical equipment, home sleep tests, and resupply of medical equipment products. Candidates must have experience providing customer service via phone and email, strong attention to detail and the ability to utilize multiple computer applications while providing best in class customer service. A successful candidate must be able to convey information to customers in a clear and concise manner and be able to navigate simple software programs.
Responsibilities
- Receives, and at times initiates, calls to/from customers requiring resupply of sleep therapy products and collects information needed to complete an order
- Provides patient education regarding usage of in-home equipment
- Update customer records in the system, including notes about interactions
- Understands the unique requirements of customers and provides appropriate direction into a daily work list and documents results of calls
- Discussing Home Sleep Test Devices and PAP Equipment
- Assisting customers with the sale or purchase of PAP Equipment
- Completes sales orders with accuracy and speed
Requirements
- High school education is required. Associates Degree and/or college coursework preferred
- Two to three years experience in the Sleep Health industry, specifically in durable medical equipment (DME) sales and/or customer service.
- Strong communication skills on the telephone
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently
